The estimated base salary range for this role is “ $80,000 to $90,000 ” per year.

BŌK Modern is seeking a motivated Pre-construction/Sales Specialist to help increase the company’s presence nationwide. This person will help drive new business as well as maintain relationships with existing clients. This is the perfect position for a skilled relationship builder. The Pre-construction/Sales Specialist will be communicating with architects, designers, and contractors regarding our products, as well as providing design and technical information. You will also be responsible for following up on leads, participating in Zoom charettes and providing Lunch & Learn presentations.

 

This position requires a candidate with excellent communication and presentation skills since you will often be dealing with senior associates and owners at prestigious firms. The ideal candidate should have general knowledge of construction and architecture, have a professional demeanor, thrive in a service-oriented position, and be a motivated self-starter. In addition, they will have excellent work ethics and want to be a long-term contributing team member.

 

On-site employees are preferred in downtown San Rafael. Remote candidates may also be considered, especially in So. California, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, or Florida. For remote hires, BŌK Modern will provide paid onsite training, and the employee can work remotely after that, with monthly team meetings on-site.

 

Qualifications / Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in providing pre-construction advice and sales for architecture products, preferably for exterior.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred
• Knowledge of basic exterior construction
• Detail-oriented with a good eye for design and technical details.
• Comfortable following up on leads, responding to product inquiries, and coordinating samples for clients
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Salesforce or equivalent CRM knowledge required.
• Microsoft Excel (Must be proficient at authoring, maintaining sheets and creating formulas)
• AutoCAD knowledge is required. Must at least know how to read and review CAD drawings.
• The ability to review bid invites is a plus.

• Organized, punctual, and a self-starter.
