About the role

Finance Business Partner is a key role in Haleon finance function. The role provides support to business stakeholders and entity Finance leads, provides financial expertise to support decision making, supports month end closing and group financial reporting activities, simplification, financial management and governance.

Role Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to finance leaders and business stakeholders, collaborate closely with them to understand their financial needs, challenges, and opportunities.

• Manage on time in full information flow of month end closing process, corporate and local management reporting.

• Support budgeting and forecasting process, identify risks and opportunities and propose actions to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, internal policies.

• Assist prediction processes to help improve future business management and operation.

• Develop financial and non-financial processes for better business support and execution.

Accountability

• Support financial closing processes, submissions, and group financial reporting. Ensure accuracy of financial reports, data validation and provide insights for actual results review and commentary.

• Perform finance business partnering activities, including but not limited to A&P planning and forecasting, media effectiveness analysis, post implementation reviews and commercial contract reviews. Provide effective business partnering to commercial and non-commercial stakeholders via preparation of financial analysis, translating numbers to actionable insights, challenging recommendations.

• Provide regular and appropriate management reports and financial analysis, including but not limited to net revenue and profitability analysis, stock in trade reporting, working capital management. Develop and revise templates to meet the reporting needs of the organization, process ad-hoc requests and support other financial activities.

• Manage general finance processes, including but not limited to fixed assets accounting, finance master data management, internal control framework management, management monitoring activities, annual transfer pricing and audit support.

• Pro-actively flag financial risks and opportunities with proposed actions, make recommendations for improving financial processes.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

• University degree in Finance.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial planning or controlling.

• Fluent English language skills.

• Ability to act as a business partner, affinity to support the business in decision making.

• Strong experience working cross-functionally, demonstrating a good ability to influence at all levels and the ability to build strong relationships and alignment in a matrix environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to transition them into insights.

• Good communication skills.

• IT literacy, MS applications, special focus on MS Excel.
