EVS Heavy Porter - Full Time

The EVS Heavy Porter reports to the EVS Supervisor and is responsible for the safe and effective operation of heavy-duty equipment, carpet shampooing, moving of furniture, and other tasks necessary.

Position Responsibilities

• Operate hand trucks and flatbed carts to move equipment to assigned area
• Scrub and buff tile and wood floor
• Strip and wax tile floor
• Maintain elevator cleanliness to include elevator tracks, polish doors and clean mirrors
• Clean escalator steps using escalator cleaning machine

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast pace environment
• Complete training on the operation of a scissor lift

Requirements

• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
• Physically capable of using the required equipment and / or tools specific to position
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Previous experience is helpful
• Must be knowledgeable in the operation of heavy equipment
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
