Head of Product (Startup Studio)

We are launching a startup studio to build digital products for the global financial sector. Together with our partner in this studio, we have multiple unfair advantages:

Tasks

As the Head of Product at this startup studio you will oversee the creation of digital products for the global financial sector. You will oversee and execute all things ideation, validation, and launch of products that can eventually become standalone businesses. Responsibilities include:

• Validate one product within 6 months and an additional two products within 24 months, following Bifrost Studios' company creation process
• Build, motivate, and develop the team to deliver on ambitious targets while maintaining an excellent quality across product, tech, support, and design
• Deploy funding in a highly capital efficient way. We believe in retaining maximum ownership through scrappiness
• Leverage the services of Bifrost Studios to the fullest
• Leverage the commercial opportunities of the partner to the fullest

Requirements

To succeed in this role, we imagine that your background includes:

• You have been a driving force in building SaaS or data products in the past from a product or tech angle
• You have worked the financial sector or adjacent industries, e.g. FinTech
• You are an excellent product strategist
• You have managed and built small, fast moving teams of 5 to 25 people in the past
• You are execution-first and share our hunger to build and own highly profitable businesses

1. Intro conversation (30 minutes)

2. Interview with Bifrost Studios and the partner (1 hour)

3. 1-3 advanced interviews, including a 180 day plan presentation

4. Psychometric testing
