Entry-Level Police Officer

As a Public Safety Police Officer at Parkland College, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Officers are responsible for enforcing campus policies and regulations, laws of the State of Illinois, patrolling campus, responding to emergencies, conducting investigations, completing written reports, and collaborating with other campus departments to promote safety and community engagement. These responsibilities are performed in an ethical manner consistent with the college mission, vision, and values.
This position is an On-Campus, Full-Time, 12-Month, appointment covered by the Public Safety Officer's Association with an annual salary of $53,809.60.

Testing Information: The Parkland College Police Department offers testing
services for the position of Police Officer through National Testing Network,
Inc. To fill out an application and schedule a test, go to National Testing Network,
select Law Enforcement and sign up for the Parkland
College Department. Upon completion of the entry level exam, all
candidate scores are automatically forwarded to Parkland College Police
Department. Candidates who attain a passing score on the entry level exam will
