Business Intelligence Director
Position Overview:
The Business Intelligence (BI) Director will serve in a dual capacity: (1) directly supporting a government customer in performance management monitoring, reporting, mitigation development and execution, and (2) leading Pueo's Business Intelligence Service. This role requires a balance of customer-focused expertise and leadership in driving the BI service's success.
Primary Responsibilities
Customer Support Responsibilities:
- Performance Management:
- The Director of Business Intelligence will provide direct customer support as the Performance Manager for a cyber security program. This support includes, but is not limited to: Developing and executing performance metrics; tracking and reporting performance against metrics; and developing mitigation plans for addressing performance challenges.
Business Intelligence Service Leadership:
- Service Development and Execution:
- Lead the BI service to ensure excellence in program and project execution, business development, and proposal management.
- Personnel Management and Career Development:
- Oversee recruitment, training, and career development for the BI service team, fostering a high-performing and motivated workforce.
- Strategic Growth:
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for expanding BI service offerings through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships.
- Business and Proposal Development:
- Exploring and shaping potential business opportunities in the Business Intelligence portfolio.
- Working different aspects of proposal development within and outside of the Business Intelligence portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in business intelligence, project management, and customer-focused operations.
- Travel: Quarterly (minimum) to Tampa, FL and future locations that have Business Intelligence assets and interests.
- Clearance: Top Secret Security Clearance
Highly Desired Qualifications
- Certifications:
- DAWIA Level II in Program Management or equivalent.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Green Belt certification.
- Education: Master of Business Administration (MBA).
