Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. The Director of Pharmacy Account - Medicaid will fall under the CarelonRx's Medicaid Sales and Account Management organization. This role is a people leader role who will be responsible for leading a team that manages contracts and relationships with Medicaid health plan accounts across the US. They will develop relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

How you will make an impact:

• Executing CarelonRx strategies to maximize value from PBM contracts and creating, implementing policy and procedures to ensure compliance with PBM contracts.  
• Manage a team to support rebate analysis, network pricing compliance and other financial aspects of the contract.
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of Pharmacy/PBM experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. 

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Pharmacy License or equivalent service in specialty Rx field preferred.
• Medicaid health plan and pharmacy benefit management expertise preferred.
• Expertise in relationship management preferred.
• Experience as a liaison between pharmacy and medical health plan leaderships preferred.
• Experience leading account management team preferred.
• Pricing and analytics expertise preferred.

 

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $164,384 to $246,576.

Locations: Chicago, IL; Mendota Heights, MN.
