Provides clinical training and support to customers, as a subject matter expert in physics, on-site and/or remotely to ensure customer is prepared to operate their equipment according to a minimum of safe and effective use guidelines and to fully utilize the complex functionality of the technology to meet their business needs.

Summary:

  • Conduct product training for customers and employees, both on-site or remote, in particular training for complex situations involving multiple products.
  • Lead classroom lectures and laboratory sessions to ensure customers are trained to operate Varian equipment according to safety guidelines with the highest level of satisfaction
  • Prepare lesson plans based on engineering documentation, field service requirements, and software documentation to address customers’ specific implementation questions
  • Formulate complementary support training information in the form of quick tips, workbooks, video-media and implementation guides.
  • Collaborate with customers as well as the sales, product marketing, and technical support departments to ensure course material reflects current product features, and address customer inquiries including testing scenarios using Varian products.
  • Work with cross-functional teams as necessary to support and enable best services and optimize customer relations.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Board Certification preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Radiation Oncology Clinical Experience
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and self-management skills. 
  • Desirable experience in Eclipse, TrueBeam, Halcyon, Ethos.
  • Onsite role in Las Vegas office with up to 25% travel requirements
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken, Spanish language skills desirable.  
  • Willing to work normal and non-normal hours as required, to support customers

The annual base pay for this position is:

Min $127,800 - Max $191,700

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
