Digitial Navigator (temporary/part-time)

Are you a college student who wants to make a positive impact in the community? Do you like to work with people of all ages. Are people always asking you how to do something on the computer or find something on the internet? Be a Digital Navigator! As a Student Digital Navigator, you'll play a crucial role in empowering individuals in the community with essential digital skills. Working as part of a team, you'll provide training to individuals and groups on computer and Internet use, covering everything from accessing informational resources to navigating health, business, and social websites. You will need to explain computer concepts to individuals who may not have much prior experience with technology. Training and materials will be provided!
Up to 15 hours/week

Minimum Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED/equivalent and current college student
- Familiarity with computers and the Internet.
- Friendly, patient, and positive attitude.
- Ability to work with diverse audiences.
- Bi/Multilingual skills are a plus (Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese particularly helpful).
- Reliable transportation to travel to different training locations in Beverly, Peabody, Danvers, and Salem MA
