Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Neurology Physician Assistant in Summit, New Jersey

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic inpatient neurology team at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey. 

This role supports two neuro-hospitalists in a collaborative and well-structured hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of neurology experience (inpatient experience preferred) and lumbar puncture experience is a plus. Responsibilities include conducting follow-up patient evaluations, scribing for physicians, coordinating, and setting up procedures, and assisting in patient care management. The schedule position operates Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the possibility of bi-weekly weekend on-call coverage shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• 2-4 years of neurology experience preferred
• Inpatient neurology and lumbar puncture experience a plus
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
