DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Transform customer data into actionable insights to shape key business and marketing strategies. Utilize advanced analytics techniques to extract meaningful patterns and trends, translating them into actionable insights. Apply statistical analysis and data visualization tools to interpret complex data and drive informed business decisions. Deliver exceptional business intelligence through dashboards and executive reporting to evaluate customer engagement, digital interaction, and account performance, sharing insights with stakeholders. Lead the analysis of strategic initiatives to optimize customer journeys across digital and offline channels, identifying friction points, enhancing discoverability, and boosting conversion rates of omni- channel shopping experiences. Use advanced analytics to uncover customer shopping preferences, channel migration, and product affinity, identifying growth opportunities and driving targeted strategies while optimizing overall portfolio performance. Consult on experiment designs and data collection, assess campaign performance, and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Oversee customer behavioral and shopping funnel analytics projects from start to finish, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leaders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, product, technology, and research to ensure the successful launch of personalized digital experiences and growth-driven initiatives, including building dashboards for real-time campaign performance tracking and addressing technical issues. Manage target setting and develop tracking to monitor key performance indicators. Collaborate with analytics teams to share learnings and techniques, and mentor and train new and junior members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist Associate Sr, Lead Data Science Analyst, Business Analyst, Decision Scientist, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist Associate Sr, Lead Data Science Analyst, Business Analyst, Decision Scientist, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: Working with SQL (including CTE, window functions, and dynamic SQL) and Python (including Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Seaborn) for data manipulation, structuring, query optimization, and automation to support comprehensive analytics for strategic initiatives; Utilizing probability and statistical analysis, including regression techniques; Automating recurring reports and dashboards using ETL techniques and Alteryx workflows; big data platforms including Teradata, Hadoop, and Snowflake for data ingestion, transformation, and query optimization; Ability to design and maintain dynamic, interactive dashboards in Tableau, utilizing advanced visualization techniques, ETL automation including Alteryx, and ODBC connectors to effectively communicate analytics insights; Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large enterprise databases to extract, clean, transform, and load data, supporting in-depth analysis of unstructured business problems; Utilize Adobe Analytics for customer behavior analysis, focusing on conversion and engagement metrics to inform strategic recommendations and design dashboards; A/B test results to validate digital strategies, troubleshoot data issues, and provide actionable insights for performance improvement; Developing interactive Excel and PowerPoint reports with advanced functions, including VLookup, Data Analysis Add-Ons, Pivots, Macros, Data Validation, Waterfall, and Gantt Charts to present complex data insights to stakeholders; Utilizing the ability to identify key KPIs for data driven product development and to work both independently and in highly collaborative team environments; data wrangling and preparation techniques to ensure data quality and readiness for analysis, with a strong focus on data cleaning, processing, manipulation, and transformation; Utilizing Unix commands for data manipulation and processing tasks, supporting the analytics workflow and data validation processes; Project management skills for marketing campaigns using Confluence and SharePoint.
