YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The primary responsibilities of Senior Project Manager – Engineering & Manufacturing Excellence (EMEX) role within Global Engineering – Bayer Crop Science, are: 

 

• Developing project scopes, including alternatives and cost-benefit analysis.
• Driving project goals, milestones, and timelines and managing challenges to meet business objectives.
• Leading diverse team of engineering disciplines and contractors in large complex projects.
• Ownership of project outcomes from inception to closure, consistent with Global Engineering project execution process.
• Effective communication with business partners, site leads as well as leading formal presentations to project stakeholders, engineering leadership on project progress.
• Ensuring consistent alignment with site leads and business partners to build trust and strong network.

Required Qualifications:

 

• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Ag Mechanization, Agricultural Technology or related Engineering degree;
• Strong analytical and problem solving/decision making skills;
• Collaborative team player capable of working well with people across all hierarchies internally and externally, including leadership in a culture that values inclusion & diversity;
• Strong organizational and presentation skills at a leadership level;
• Demonstrated track record of strong interpersonal skills including communication (written & verbal), listening, and assertiveness with ability to influence;
• Results driven with ability to manage ambiguity.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Seven or more years of project management;
• Prior experience managing projects in excess of $20M;
• Track record of successfully managing multiple infrastructure projects;
• Prior experience leading projects to repurpose labs and R&D space;
• Prior experience working in a global, matrix environment.

 

 

 

Position will be located in Chesterfield, Missouri (St. Louis area).

Domestic relocation may be available for this role.

Position may include opportunity to work hybrid model including some remote days depending on project needs.
