Position Overview:The Office of the Provost is seeking a Senior Grants and Contracts Specialist to provide comprehensive pre- and post-award administrative and financial support. This role serves as a key member of the Shared Services Center, managing research-related accounts and ensuring the success of the university's research mission.

Telework:A hybrid telework schedule may be available.
Responsibilities:- Proposal Support: Partner with Faculty to develop budgets and navigate the grant submission and routing process.
- Financial Oversight: Perform complex account reconciliations, manage sub-awards, and process budget revisions.
- Analysis and Reporting: Conduct recurring financial analysis and forecasting to provide faculty and leadership with strategic fiscal insights.
- Collaborative Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact between faculty, central administrative offices, and external collaborators.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required. A degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred to support the technical demands of the role.
- Experience: Three years of progressive experience in grant administration, budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliation, and managing complex analytical responsibilities.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree specifically in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Direct experience with Kuali and ticketing systems.
- Prior experience in higher education, administration, particularly within a shared services center or central office environment.
- Proven ability to lead fiscal meetings and provide high-level forecasting and projections for departmental leadership and faculty.

Salary: $77,500 to $87,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
