Job Description
Position Overview
The Senior Analyst, Sourcing & Logistics, will be responsible for managing the deployment of owner-supplied equipment across Invenergy’s construction portfolio. This role will follow the procurement lifecycle for individual renewable energy projects from offtake negotiation through commercial operation and will serve as the internal point of contact for all owner-supplied equipment matters at the project level. The position will be based in Chicago, Illinois and will report through the Sourcing & Logistics arm of Invenergy’s Renewable Procurement department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supply Contract Management – Oversee execution of equipment supply contracts during project construction and commissioning. Includes delivery scheduling, vendor communication, 3PL interface, invoice verification, and payment follow-through.
Construction Management Support – Support the Construction Project Management team in topics related to owner-supplied equipment. Includes support of EPC contract negotiation, real-time equipment delivery scheduling, and troubleshooting equipment related concerns on site.
Equipment Receiving – Execute equipment receiving program at the project level. Train on-site materials receiving personnel, lead communication of delivery status on a real-time basis, manage equipment receiving and inventory status, and report-out through organization.
Offtake Contract Support – Oversee owner-supplied equipment input to offtake contract negotiation. Touchpoint between Origination, Pre-Construction, and Procurement.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree.
2+ years of total professional experience.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
Educational background in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
1-2 years of experience in procurement or strategic logistics.
Familiar with equipment supply and construction agreements.
Thorough understanding of the legal aspects of procurement.
