The Boeing Company is looking for a Mid-Level Strategy Analyst – Government Services to join our team in Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; Seattle, WA; or Plano, TX.
The Government Services Strategy team is responsible for providing and synthesizing business, market, competitive, and financial information to develop and evaluate strategic alternatives (e.g. business model, organic investments, competitiveness) across Boeing Global Services (BGS)-Government and the enterprise. The team works closely with the BGS-Government businesses to develop strategic growth plans and partners with other functions to ensure strategies and required investments are reflected in the business plan and meet long-term goals and objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent research, market/competitive analysis, benchmarking and develops forecasts
- Perform strategic analysis, identification of enablers and strategic alternatives to create and capture value
- Conduct market development and opportunity assessment for merger/acquisitions and/or partnerships
- Develop integrated view of the future business environment and opportunities
- Support business case development through partnering with other functions
- Ensure strategies and investments are reflected in Long Range Business Plan
- Oversee integration of market development for industry collaboration, acquisitions or partnerships
- Collaborate across functions and business units to develop and deploy strategies to achieve business objectives
- Support project teams to develop, integrate and communicate Boeing strategies
- Support senior decision-making through strategic analysis of alternatives in order to drive decision making and alignment
- Build positive relationships with all stakeholders

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience performing strategy related work (e.g. market or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, facilitating strategic decisions)
- 3+ years of experience working on cross-functional projects
- Experience advancing projects in ambiguous environments
- Experience with hypothesis-driven approaches and strategy development, particularly with identifying customer value propositions
- Ability to travel to support business and team requirements (approximately 10%)
- Experience in the industrial, military/defense, and/or aerospace industry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Master's of Business Administration or advanced business/finance, strategy, or international degrees
- 1+ years of experience in aftermarket services; particularly in government services
- Experience in developing long-term strategies and being a strategic business partner supporting a le
