Responsibilities
Working supervisor responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department. Accountable for the supervision and evaluation of staff in accordance with staffing needs and established goals. Performs human resource tasks and trains staff on policies and procedures, standards and competencies. Ensures and enforces Technicians and Messengers adhere to policies and procedures to promote safe and timely medication availability. Extremely competent in all responsibilities of a staff pharmacy technician.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:MINIMUM REQUIRED: High School Diploma/GED. Three (3) years of experience in a designated area of expertise - Inpatient or Outpatient.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSMINIMUM REQUIRED: Valid State of California Pharmacy Technician license.
PREFERRED: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
