Better Future”, <strong>onsemi </strong>plans to break through traditional thinking and market barriers to create innovative and game-changing solutions that solve customers’ most difficult design challenges, and support revolution. <strong>onsemi</strong>’s value proposition includes a unique combination of deep systems knowledge, technology leadership and industry leading manufacturing. </span></p> <p><span><strong><u>Job Purpose</u></strong></span></p> <p><span>Reporting to the Senior Vice President of New Product Development, the Senior Director of Module Development will play a crucial role in developing the next generation of high-power modules for <strong>onsemi</strong>’s power products.  Flawless execution is a core value of the engineering organization, and the Senior Director of Module Development will lead the company in defining and delivering to the roadmap to fulfill business objectives.  This role is instrumental in</span><span> </span><span>delivering high quality products to the market ahead of the competition by designing high power modules for multiple markets including automotive, industrial and AI. Preferred location is in Munich Germany, collocated with <strong>onsemi</strong>’s System Engineering leadership. </span></p> <p><span>The Senior Director of Module Development will work closely with customers, and cross-functionally with all engineering and product management teams while ensuring complete alignment with the manufacturing teams. This role demands a deep understanding of module development using power discretes, material science, packaging architectures, electromechanical and thermal modeling, simulation and design for manufacturing. This leader will work closely with the technical leadership in <strong>onsemi’</strong>s Business Groups to create technology and module roadmaps supporting power system product roadmaps.</span></p> <p><span>Business performance mandates a leader capable of driving down cost while meeting technical product requirements. Cost optimization is essential where this leader will perform tradeoffs during the design cycle, across material selection, process flow and backend assembly.   </span></p> <p><span>In addition to technical leadership, the role is responsible for defining and delivering a market-leading roadmap through innovation. The role involves direct customer engagement and requires the ability to understand and anticipate or drive market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer demands.</span></p> <p><span>The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional leadership skills, capable of uniting global teams and driving them towards common goals.
