How You Will Make an Impact

• Plan, schedule, and perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and repairs on laboratory equipment and instrumentation to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
• Utilize a quality management system, write and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), departmental guidelines, deviations, and investigations related to laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Schedule and supervise vendors and contractors performing on-site service calls.
• Assist in change control processes for new and existing laboratory equipment.
• Assist in budget preparation and manage sourcing and purchasing of spare parts and supplies for calibration and maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory equipment and related areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.

What You Will Bring to the Role

Education:

Minimum Required: Associates degree in related field.

Preferred: Bachelors

Experience:

Minimum Required: 5 plus years in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, including at least two years calibrating and repairing laboratory equipment.

Licenses and Certifications:

Prefer: CMS, ASQ CCT, or AUKOM certification
