Job Summary:

• Candidate will transport patients to and from the OR, Assists Nurse in moving and positioning patients on the OR table; assists RN's with surgical skin preparations and does shave preps as ordered; deliver surgical and lab specimens to appropriate areas; maintain the supply area; clean OR rooms between each case; assists staff with cleaning of instruments plus other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience & Skills: 

• Previous hospital OR experience necessary preferably in surgery, environmental services or transportation.

Licensure/Certification:

• BLS or Heart Saver from AHA required
