Job Requirements
Draw upon technical background to facilitate the sales of NetApp products while engaging and validating NetApp technologies and values with established cloud communities and industry leaders. Plan, direct, and coordinate sales policies and programs for NetApp cloud advocacy with a focus on marketing cloud and data center software. Create and develop a long-term vision for cloud advocacy at NetApp through internal and external engagement. Drive product launches through content development for sales enablement and community advocacy, utilizing cloud content creation capabilities using a variety of tools to develop video, audio, and blog content. Provide sales support and coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop useful content with industry peers, communities, and leaders that best demonstrate NetApp’s value in cloud data services. Drive NetApp engagement and coordination with industry cloud communities focused on public cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Demonstrate global community engagement by developing, connecting, and supporting the major cloud communities. Contribute to team initiatives with the development, planning, execution, and measurement of the Community Engagement team activities. Develop global sales strategy, planning, and execution end-to-end. Collaborate with sales teams and support product launches through cloud content development for sales enablement and community advocacy. Remain informed on industry news and trends, products, and services. Track targeted industry events for community alignment and new engagement opportunities to promote NetApp products and sales. Support NetApp at major cloud industry events by distinguishing company services and values from peers and competitors. Research and analyze trends to continuously improve NetApp’s cloud community engagement strategy. Engage in marketing on social media platforms, including video and streaming tools, to help support external community identification, engagement, and relationship-building globally. Requires travel up to 25% of the time for major and global cloud conferences held in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Position is fully remote and may be performed from anywhere in the United States.
We are offering a salary range of $180,000 per year to $210,000 per year, depending upon qualifications.

Education
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field and two years of experience in the job offered or in marketing cloud and data center software. Will accept additional two years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree. Stated experience must include public cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform; cloud advocacy; cloud content creation capabilities using a variety of tools to develop video, audio, and blog content; developing, connecting, and supporting major cloud communities; developing global strategy, planning, and execution end-to-end; cloud data services; cloud content development for sales enablement and community advocacy; cloud community engagement strategy; and marketing on social media platforms, including video and streaming tools. Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
