Corporate Business Analyst - Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications

 

We currently have a career opportunity for a Corporate Business Analyst to join our team located in St. Louis, MO.

The Business Analyst provides strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer’s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.

The Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.

• Engage with business stakeholders at different levels to understand business needs to develop the appropriate Business Requirements document.
• Analyze and evaluate the business requirements and make solution recommendations
• Perform fit/gap analysis and provide solutions for Enterprise systems that include Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications 24A (11.13.24.01.0), Oracle Cloud ERP Financials, Cloud Projects, Salesforce, Oracle Reporting Systems, and other integrated boundary systems.
• Translate business requirements to system functional design. Lead the implementation of the solution, perform user acceptance tests, and provide functional support to users.
• Participate in the development of end-user training materials and the associated training of end-user solutions
• Work with IT Development, IT Infrastructure, and other Cross-track teams in converting the Business Solution into a Technical (system) solution.
• Understand how business processes utilize data and be able to map/track the data between systems
• Support the analysis and development of integration requirements to move data between systems. Participate in the testing and implementation of new integrations
• Provide guidance to the Application Support & Maintenance team to troubleshoot production issues

• 5+ years of experience in functional design and configuration on Oracle ERP Systems with R12 release 12.1.x or higher strongly preferred 
• 3+ years of experience Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications 24A (11.13.24.01.0)
• Experience with Finance, Projects and HCM (GL, AP, AR, FA, Expenses, Cash Management and Projects)
• Cloud Implementation and Conversion experience
• Demonstrated experience understanding all aspects of a business process and how it’s enabled with various technologies (from initial data capture, data processing, to data reporting)
• Ability to understand upstream application footprint across multiple systems
• In depth understanding of integrations between applications, data flows and types of technologies used in these integrations
• Implementation experience in medium to large applications.
• Experience conducting CRP, Design Review, IT Certification & UAT sessions.
• Ability to provide Production Support Team 
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to articulate and present solutions to Senior Management, data architects and broader Business Teams.
• A degree in Computer Science or related field combined with relevant experience.

• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform on multiple high priority initiatives
• Knowledge of Financial accounting and ERP Projects, Sales cycles is a big plus.
• Understanding of BI Analytics and reporting platforms.  OTBI (Financial Reporting Center)
• Experience in Waterfall and Agile software development methods and practices.
