Strategic Technical Advisor

Description

The R3 Strategic Technical Advisor handles building and keeping profitable and measurably successful relationships within our existing Partner base, resulting in highly effective and strategic enterprise information technology solutions, driven by the Partner’s strategic business goals. Your depth of technical knowledge coupled with your strong business acumen helps to change traditional IT, making it a force multiplier to ensure success.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Devlopment of a relationship with Partners where you are the trusted advisor and subject matter expert for their IT environment.
• Drive strategic IT initiatives for our Partners and generate success by interpreting our Partner’s business operations and ensuring the strategic alignment of various technology solutions to meet those requirements.
• Ensure your Partners receive ongoing regularly scheduled executive reports including overall account metrics defined and measured in conjunction with the Partner.
• Perform IT Risk Planning and Management with our Partners to reduce overall risk and increase success rate of operational functions.
• Develop and maintain the Strategic Technology Roadmap (STR) for each assigned Partner that is anchored to the business vision, mission, and goals.
• Collaborate with the R3 ELT, and internal teams on the design and implementation of new services and product offerings to support operational initiatives and strategy.
• Develop and manage IT budgets and resources per defined plans.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skillsets:

• Amazing strategic planning capability, specifically the ability to interpret both technology and business operations to develop strategic plans for clients assigned to your portfolio.
• A knack at innovative problem solving, tempered by the wisdom of knowing innovation comes with risk. We love creativity but need to consider how it may impact our ability to deliver world-class service on a scale.
• Outstanding communication, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

• The ability to produce unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.
• Expertise in Microsoft systems such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and our other MSP (Managed Solution Provider) tools and services.
• Experience within the MSP Market is a plus.
