Role Summary

The Principal Analyst, Security Lead CPSO will perform a wide variety of tasks as part of the Special Access Programs (SAP) Security Team.  The program security team is filling 2 vacancies with this role, duties may include but are not limited to: leading all security aspects of a large production facility spanning multiple facilities or leading all security aspects of several software development labs; additional duties may include; developing, reviewing and administering the program’s security policies in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment to ensure compliance with the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, DAAPM, and ICD-705.  The Principal Analyst, Security will provide oversight and guidance related to security policies and procedures to ensure successful contract execution. 

What You Will Do:

  • Administering the security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, ICD 705, and JSIG), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for:  personnel processing, media control, data transfer agent support, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified.  
  • Develop, prepare, and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and proprietary test plans utilizing risk management principles.   
  • Implement a media control program in accordance with USG requirements. Support Data Transfers and or hardware transfers.  
  • Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors and subordinate business units via the DD Form 254 or other contractual methods.   
  • Establish, gain accreditation, and maintain a secure facility in accordance with (IAW) ICD-705.   
  • Establish and oversee specialized procedures for the transmission of classified and/or proprietary material/information.   
  • Establish and maintain a visitor control program.  
  • Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.  
  • Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).   
  • Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of prior security experience OR in absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience.  Advanced degrees may be considered in lieu of prior experience.    
  • Active and In-Scope Top Secret security clearance - (Please note the current, final Top-Secret clearance must have an investigation not older than 6 years on the first day of employment or must be actively enrolled in continues evaluation)  
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment  
  • Experience working directly within software development area as a data transfer agent or media custodian and/or within a factory environment supporting hardware transfers, and secure mission support.   
  • Currently accessed and able to obtain and maintain additional SAP and/or SCI accesses.  
  • Demonstrated communications skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization from senior level program leaders to entry level engineers on all security matters within their area of responsibility.  
  • Ability to travel for company business up to 20%.
