Job Summary

Summary:  THE CONCESSIONS SUPERVISOR PLAYS A KEY LEADERSHIP ROLE IN DELIVERING AN EXCEPTIONAL GUEST EXPERIENCE DURING GAMES, CONCERTS, AND SPECIAL EVENTS AT THE DELTA CENTER. THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPERVISING CONCESSION STAND OPERATIONS, ENSURING HIGH-QUALITY FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE, AND SUPPORTING A CLEAN, SAFE, AND GUEST-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must exemplify & promote Levy's Family Values- Nice, Innovative, Passionate, and Inclusive. 
  • Coordinate & lead daily team pre-shift meetings with staff prior to each event.
  • Supervise day-of-event operations of assigned concessions stands, carts, and portable units. 
  • Lead and motivate a team of concessions team members, ensuring proper training, adherence to policies, and outstanding guest services. 
  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to maintain Levy standards. 
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) Operations. 
  • Matain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. 
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures, including stand setup, product restocking, and cleaning. 
  • Address guests concerns or complaints promptly and professionaly.
  • Communicate effectively with Culinary, Warehouse, and event operations teams. 
  • Support non-sporting events as needed, including concerts and private events. 
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts, which occur immediately following the last event of each month. 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in concessions, food service, or hospitality; supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong leadership and customer skills. 
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
  • Attend scheduled supervisor trainings including, but not limited to, all Compass Levy & venue-specefic required trainings.
