Sr. Business Process Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Process Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Business Process Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our business operations by developing innovative business requirements and process re-engineering methodologies. You will be a key contributor in solving complex application and process-related challenges, creating detailed process and system design specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and refinement of business requirements and business process re-engineering methodologies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and the organization's strategic objectives.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve application and process-related problems by devising comprehensive process and system design specifications. Employ a holistic approach to address challenges and facilitate seamless integration across business units.
• Effectively communicate business requirements for the development of reports and applications, ensuring clear and concise documentation that guides the development teams in creating valuable solutions.
• Facilitate collaboration among various business units and IT functions by acting as a bridge between departments. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to addressing complex business challenges.
• Take the lead in resolving technical issues and driving improvements within business units' technical environments. Employ proactive problem-solving techniques to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead and participate in workshops, meetings, and training sessions to facilitate the exchange of ideas, gather requirements, and promote the adoption of process improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in business processes, applications, and technical solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional growth.

Requirements

• Preferred Education: bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field. An MBA or MPA is preferred.
• Proven track record of at least 8 years in business process consulting, process re-engineering, and requirements gathering.
• Specialized Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in reengineering large scale business processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex problems and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across business units and technical teams.
