About the role

Interested in joining a large Primary Health team that cares for patients across the generational spectrum? Our Family Medicine and Internal Medicine/Pediatric group is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their busy practice.

This is a full-time position, with flexibility to work a 4-day work week. As we care for patients of all ages, we cannot consider Adult/Gerontology trained Nurse Practitioners.  

Enjoy working in this thriving outpatient clinic, seeing a variety of patient needs and diagnoses. Team-based care includes social workers, nurse care managers, pharmacists, triage nurses, physical therapist & clinical assistants. Additional services offered within the facility include radiology (including CT & MRI), laboratory, urgent care, physical therapy, balance & hearing center, women’s health, neurology, behavioral health, and full spectrum orthopedic care.

Qualifications

Physician Assistant: 

  • Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program

  • LIC-Physician Assistant - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  • CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire required

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association SHMG if required by specialty or stress test performed. 120 Days required

  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association SHMG if required by specialty or stress test performed. 120 Days required

Nurse Practitioner: 

  • Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission 

  • 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience 

  • Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner 

  • LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan  

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)  

  • CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)  

  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
