Business Analytics Intern – Summer 2026

Location: Chicago, IL. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. A Business Analytics Intern will be responsible for supporting our Network Strategy and Programs team by assisting with network adequacy, network strategy, and health plan analytics. During this summer internship, the intern will have the opportunity to find the story behind the network data to recognize areas for optimization and propose strategic process improvements for long-term strategic success.

This position is a full-time, 12-week internship (May 18th, 2026 – August 7th, 2026) program in alignment with our Enterprise-wide Summer Internship program.

How you will make an impact:

• Analyze large-scale and complex data sets from reports to develop strategic recommendations for business improvement

• Collaborate with team members to document and develop reporting standardization

• Create automated dashboards for complex data visualization      

• Collect, analyze, and clearly document existing business processes to ensure a thorough understanding of current workflows.

• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external business leaders

Minimum Requirements:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in either: Business Analytics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related degree at an accredited university or college

• The ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship and work in-office at least once per week.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

• An interest in health care and insurance

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, Word, and Access

• Knowledge of Tableau or related data visualization software

• Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $18.92 to $27.03
