1. Leads clinical effectiveness and improvement projects from microsystem improvements to cross-departmental collaboration. 2. Facilitates key project deliverables related to clinical effectiveness and improvement within designated microsystems by utilizing project planning tools and quality improvement methodologies in order to promote continuous quality improvement. 3. Conducts benchmarking, evidence review and synthesis, manual observations, chart reviews and sustainability of projects. 4. Maintains ongoing data analysis/sharing, visual display and annotations of control charts, potential additional tests of change, evidence updates and support of microsystem control teams. 5. Creates and leads standard dissemination of education related to improvement projects in the implementation phase. 6. Serves as an improvement coach for clinical staff engaged in efforts to reduce unwarranted variation in care and improve patient outcomes. 7. Shares improvement stories and lessons learned with external organizations and patients and families by spearheading submissions for presentation and publication. 8. Performs job functions adhering to service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to our patients, families, co-workers and others. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 1.Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. 2. 3-5 years of clinical, coordinator or experience in related field. 3.Experience in quality improvement training preferred. 4.Project management and collaboration skills required. 5.Demonstrated experience with literature searches and synthesis of evidence. 6.Strong written, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills. 7.Proficiency in presenting, communicating, and interacting effectively with medical staff and management at all levels of the organization. 8.Ability to independently manage multiple projects with general supervision. 9.Proficiency with Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred proficiency with Epic. 10.Experience and skill with data management including interpreting, comprehending, and summarizing statistical and medical data.Education

$70,720.00-$115,627.20 SalaryAt Lurie Children’s, we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity, reflecting individual contributions, experience, and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position. Ranges are regularly reviewed to stay aligned with market conditions. In addition to base salary, Lurie Children’s offer a comprehensive rewards package that may include differentials for some hourly employees, leadership incentives for select roles, health and retirement benefits, and wellbeing programs.
