Department/Program Overview

The Carisk Intelligent Clearinghouse (CiC) Summer Internship Program is a sales-focused internship designed to give students real-world experience in healthcare outreach and business development. Interns will work directly with the CiC sales team and spend much of their time cold calling healthcare providers to educate them on Workers’ Compensation and No-Fault Auto eBilling and encourage them to sign up to submit claims electronically through CiC. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for students who want to build confidence on the phone, learn how outbound sales works, and gain exposure to healthcare technology and compliance.

Program Requirements

-          Comfortable making outbound cold calls (or willing to learn quickly)

-          Strong verbal communication skills

-          Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely

-          Organized and able to track calls and notes in a CRM

-          Interest in sales, business development, healthcare, or operations
