This role will provide an opportunity to work on various CI/CD platforms and tools to build and deploy data pipelines and applications.

Credit Solutions is at the heart of financial workflows when it comes to providing and analyzing data. We provide Ratings and Research information to clients . Our work deals with content ingestion, data feeds generation as well as exposing the data to clients via API calls and some Java based applications. This position in part of the RatingsXpresss team and is focused on providing clients the critical data they need to make the most informed investment decisions possible.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Terraform etc., while also engaging in Scala and various SQL based database development.

Responsibilities and Impact:

As a member of the Credit Solutions team in S&P Global Market Intelligence, you will work with a group of engineers that are very data-centric and in tune with our product offerings. Our Software Engineers are involved in the full product life cycle, from design through release. You will be helping various development teams to build and deploy data pipelines and applications. You will be working with a team of talented engineers who are passionate about building high-quality software and delivering value to our clients.

• Design and develop various automation pipelines and tools to support the development and deployment of data pipelines and applications.
• Manage and maintain all infrastructure of the Credit Solutions Platforms.
• Will be on-call for production support on a rotating basis.
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $120,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
  Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with either Java or Scala.
  Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible etc.
  Experience with AWS Cloud services or similar cloud platforms.
  Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with Python.
  Minimum of 1 year of experience with SQL and relational databases.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with any other automation platforms.
