The Customer Master Data Data Analyst is responsible for the Customer Master Data in SAP and Salesforce.com. You will support and reinforce the company’s vision of Salesforce.com as an enterprise sales productivity tool. You will help implement and support the best business practices of the organization. You will be directly accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the customer master data in the SAP and Salesforce.com systems. You will be instrumental in keeping the systems useful and relevant to the sales team and management users. You will learn how to assess Customer Master Data for accuracy, relevancy, and application to up and downstream systems and activities.
This position is part of the Customer Master Data & Analytics team and will be remote. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate and execute account creation, updates and analysis using various systems including SAP and Salesforce.com which includes set-up and maintenance of customer accounts and pricing.
- Assist in the implementation of global standardized business practices for customer master data entry.
- Hold requestors accountable to CMD standards and guidelines for data that does not meet the established business requirements.
- Ensure inbound data has been scrubbed and formatted to meet minimum requirements prior to input into SAP and Salesforce.com.
- Act as a liasion for analyzing problems and resolutions relating to CMD.
- Daily monitoring of shared email Inbox or direct contact with key internal customers including Contracts, Sales Operations Specialists, Order Management, Corporate Accounts, Sales, Service, or other functional areas.
- Maintain a high degree of data integrity, quality and consistency.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SalesForce.com use and record maintenance.
- Proficiency in the use of SAP.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Medical Device industry or Commercial Business Operations Organization

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is 49,200.00 - 86,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
