About the role

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a 3rd year law student available for immediate hire for a legal internship.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with drafting, revising and implementing corporate policies, procedures, training, and communications to improve operational efficiency and mitigate risk
  • Work across Legal, Compliance, HR, IT, Finance and the various Business units to translate process and practice into policies and procedures
  • Review various laws and regulations and translate into policies and procedures
  • Harmonizing existing policies and procedures

Required Experience

  • 3rd year law student currently enrolled at an ABA accredited law school
  • A high level of computer competency and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Outlook)
  • Leadership experience, including networking and relationships building
  • Highly organized, responsible, and able to exercise independent judgment to prioritize competing demands and complete work timely and professionally
  • Team-oriented and collaborative approach
  • Articulate and effective written and verbal communications, with a high level of professionalism in all interactions and correspondence
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership to complete tasks in areas of responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new skills and technology, willingness to ask questions and be resourceful to accomplish work objectives

Internship Details:

  • Hours per Week: 20 to 30 (flexible)
  • Location: New Jersey or District of Columbia Area

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.Reasonable estimate of the current range$24—$30 USD
