About the Position:  

The TCBH Social Work Department is hiring for a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional or Candidate that would provide behavioral health services.  This position would carry a caseload of adults copying with severe mental illness and/or substance abuse and would work as an active member of a treatment team.  Duties include completing biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans and providing brief therapeutic interventions such as crisis stabilization and developing safety/wellness plans.  In addition, the clinician will run psychotherapy groups as part of our structured group therapy model.  

  

Job Type/Salary:   

  • Open/Close dates: 11/13/2024-Until filled  

  • Full-time  

  • Annual payrate: $66,000 - $71,000 + (Pay range is based on experience, tenure and certifications) 

  • Licensure Candidate (under supervision): $66,000 + 

  • Licensed Behavioral Health Professional: $71,000 + 

  • Primary Working Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm 

  • FLSA Status:  Exempt  

  • Primary Work Location/Department:  Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health–Social Work Dept 

  • Vacancies: 2 

  

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:  

  • LCBHP – Completion of curriculum requirements for a master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and Must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board’s supervision requirement is met but the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards:  Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. 

     

  • LBHP - Completion of curriculum requirements for a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling or closely related field; and Must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology, Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (examples include: Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)

  

Special Requirements:  

  • Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background check.  

  • Applicant must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.

About us:  Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health (TCBH) is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and provides a supportive, safe and welcoming environment in which an array of integrated therapeutic interventions promotes an improved quality of life for consumers and the community. TCBH serves individuals eighteen years of age or older who present in a mental health crisis with or without substance abuse and are determined medically stable.   

We will transition soon into our new 140,000 square foot, 106-bed hospital, slated for completion in 2026.  This state of the art facility, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center, will feature a 24-hour crisis response Urgent Recovery Center and will be situated in the OSU Academic Medical District,  near the new VA Hospital and the OSU Medical Cent
