Job Details
- Hourly Wage: $36.06/hour.
- Benefits: 2 weeks’ vacation (prorated this year); 3 sick days; 11 holidays a year; Local Bonus Plan; Full medical benefits offered; 401K company match up to 6% (dollar for dollar).
Position overview
Are you a highly motivated logistics professional looking to make an impact in a fast-paced environment? In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, inventory accuracy, FIFO/FEFO compliance, and efficient space utilization. Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, maintain, store, supply and ship material to appropriate locations throughout the allnex network.
- Load/unload vehicle or rail cars, following standard operating procedures.
- Transport materials/tankwagons/boxtrailers/flatbeds/equipment throughout the plant using appropriate equipment.
- Provide communication and coordination with appropriate departments and plant personnel as necessary to assure safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
- Adhere to all safety & plant standards, rules, procedures and requirements while utilizing proper safety equipment, protective devices, clothing and safe work habits and practices while performing job duties.
- Run QC testing on inbound materials as needed for Quality Verification.
- All additional duties as described and assigned by management.
Required skills and experience
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Familiar with warehouse operation procedure.
- Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles.
- Knowledge of chemical materials storage, handling and related regulations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to details and decision making on competing priorities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or above
- Good Microsoft Office knowledge, experience using SAP ERP would be an advantage.
- Certification or experience in complying with dangerous goods regulations and hazardous materials storage desired.
Physical Requirements
- Exert up to 40 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently.
- Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
- Working in and exposed to non-climate controlled conditions.
- Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform standard job duties.
- Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties.
- Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks.
