We are committed to driving the future of transportation with cutting-edge technology and a customer-centric approach.<br/></p><p><strong>The role</strong><br/></p><p>You will be responsible for a wide variety of legal matters across the EU operations, including commercial contracts with suppliers, dealers and importers, as well as our customers. This is a broad and impactful role close to the business</p><p>As part of a small in-house legal team, flexibility is key. While the focus will be on commercial contracts, you may also be asked to support related areas such as corporate law and antitrust legal matters.</p><p><strong>This is what you will do:</strong></p><p></p><p>As a Commercial Legal Counsel at Zeekr EU, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business by handling a wide array of legal matters across the EU region. Your responsibilities will include managing commercial contracts with various stakeholders such as suppliers, dealers and importers, and customers related legal matters. You will handle a wide variety of legal matters across the EU business including:</p><ul> <li>Manage commercial contracts with suppliers, distributors, and customers.</li> <li>Work closely with Sales, Aftersales, Marketing and Finance teams to support deal structuring and execution.</li> <li>Advise internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory risks in key EU markets.</li> <li>Provide strategic guidance on commercial transactions, contract disputes, and risk mitigation.</li> </ul><ul> </ul><p><strong>To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:</strong></p><ul> <li>Extensive experience as commercial lawyer, gained at a law firm or as an in-house legal counsel.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of commercial contract law and commercial contracts negotiation.</li> <li>Experience in the automotive industry and familiarity with in-house legal operations.</li> <li>Experience with corporate legal matters and anti-trust matters is a plus.<br/></li> <li>Business-minded with excellent communication skills.<br/></li> <li>Possession of a proactive and innovative "can-do" attitude with the ability to think creatively.<br/></li> <li>Fluent written and spoken in English.
