DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will serve as a key member of the NOES (non-grain oriented electric steel) Project Team, leading the roll shop operations that support a state-of-the-art S6 reversing cold mill. This individual will play a critical role in launching a new 600,000+ square foot facility, including recruiting and building the roll shop team, overseeing the commissioning of roll maintenance systems, and guiding a team of approximately 20 members through startup and ramp-up phases. The candidate will be responsible for establishing standards for roll maintenance, reliability, and operational excellence.
The Basics:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent field experience, which could include military leadership experience
· Has a documented record of reinforcing and adherence with safety and environmental standards and regulations
· Has technical training or certifications in machining or 5 years roll grinding or CNC experience
· Proficient in computer programs to include Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to travel and participate in benchmarking and equipment run-offs in other regions

· Working on a greenfield plant launch or plant/department start-up

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
· Responsible for maintaining and improving the safety, order, and cleanliness of the NOES Roll Shop
· Safety investigations; responsible for reporting and presenting results
· Commissioning of the roll shop for the NOES plant
· Supervise and direct NOES Roll Shop operations
