As part of the WW Strategic Accounts Sales Operations team, you’ll operate with a strategic perspective, supporting high-impact decisions that shape Pure Storage’s top customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone who brings professionalism to complex business problems, operates in a consultative manner with sales and cross-functional teams, and is confident in influencing outcomes at all levels. You will help transform how we scale operational excellence across our most critical accounts. This position will serve as the operations business partner for the VP of Americas Strategic Accounts and is critical to the success of the region.
Responsibilities, Knowledge and Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations, reports, and presentations.
- Lead Forecast, Pipeline and performance discussions for the region, incorporating insights, predications, and results.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills - building deep, trust-based relationships with business and cross-functional partners.
- Act as the business partner for the Americas Strategic Accounts VP by proactively identifying business issues, specific to forecast and quarterly results, and concerns to address versus reactively address.
- Lead projects and programs for the Sales organization end to end while engaging cross-functional teams as required by the business.
- Partner with the VP and AVPs to craft and establish GTM strategy, recommending the modeling and implementation of sales territories and quota setting.
- Work closely with other Sales Ops members to share knowledge, methodologies and facilitate standardization across the field organization.
- Coach and mentor sales team through rollout of new systems & processes.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written form.
- Solid strategy, planning, organizational and multitasking skills.
- A problem solver with the ability to identify solutions to complex business issues.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 10+ years working experience in a Sales Operations, Finance or other Analytical role.
- Bachelors degree in Business or Finance.
- Previous experience in Sales, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis is a plus.
- Structured Analytical Problem Solving skills, combined with strong Business Acumen.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, MS Office, Clari, Anaplan, and Salesforce.
- Tableau experience is a plus.
- Excellent Communication, Problem Solving and Presentation skills with the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and turn them into compelling narratives for different audiences.
- Strong Interpersonal skill and an ability to work under pressure.
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the New York, NY office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
