Model Based System Engineer

support the development and management architectures/MBSE products and initiatives in support of
Naval Integrated Combat Systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage MBSE products and initiatives that support modeling requirements and
architecture of integrated combat systems - Provide subject matter expertise in modeling and systems engineering to build and maintain
complex system and system of systems architectures and models with external programs of
record - Identify integration issues and system requirements discrepancies across multiple systems
- Collaborate with other engineering teams in planning, design, and development of systems to
ensure software and hardware performance and compatibility - Maintain system models in Cameo
- Participate in working groups and technical interchange meetings
Requirements:
- Candidates must have an Active Secret Clearance in place.
- At least 3 years of experience with systems engineering and the utilization of model-based
systems and digital engineering processes, principles, techniques, and procedures in the
development of architectures for naval systems - Experience with model-based systems engineering tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody,
and/or other SysML modeling tools
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of Naval Combat System concepts and programs and architectures
- Extensive experience with Cameo or MagicDraw supporting NAVSEA programs with systems
engineering and the utilization of model-based systems and digital engineering processes,
principles, techniques, and procedures in the development of DODAF architectures for naval
systems - Experience and knowledge in the development of high-fidelity engineering models
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required
Clearance: An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $1150,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
