SALARY RANGE
$33,760.00-$37,136.00 Annually $1,298.46 -$1,428.31 Biweekly
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This is work procuring, checking quality, preparation and issuing food at the Food Service Department. This is to include but not limited to the following:
Cook, measure, and prepare a variety of foods following standard recipes to proper temperatures and chart it on temperature chart.
Check and approve the quality of product before cooking or prepping. Ensure all food is appealing and appetizing.
Determine portions of food in accordance with prescribed diets.
Ensure minimal loss of temperature and quality.
Ensure food is prepped and leftovers are stored properly and in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Maintain a high level of sanitation in work and storage areas. Hair nets and gloves are worn at all times. Ensure cleanliness while handling food and equipment. Clean equipment and utensils. Works dish room and pot room as assigned.
Make daily inventory checks to ensure you have what you need for the menus for the following day according to production sheets.
Work on tray line, employee cafeteria or assist with deliveries as assigned.
