Production Operator 1

Summary:

Rogers Corporation is looking for top talent to join our amazing team. Join Rogers as an industry leader and receive premium pay. Full Time Positions available from entry level to experienced Machine Operators, Material Handlers, Batch Mixers, and Line Inspectors at our Carol Stream, IL location.

Compensation Starting between $19.00 to $23.00 depending on specific job and experience! $3,000.00 signing bonus AND Shift Differentials

Shifts:

Shift 1 (Monday Through Friday 5:30am – 2pm) – 0% Shift dif

Shift 3 (Monday Through Friday 9:30pm – 6am) – 10% shift dif

Essential Functions:

• Set up and monitor all manufacturing parameters relating to the safe, efficient production of Silicone foam.
• Perform and record all in-process inspection/testing relating to maintaining product traceability and run documentation.
• Assure that a sufficient quantity of raw material base is available to meet daily production demands. 
• Communicate with various departments such as quality, shipping and value added relative to product quality issues and availability of material for further processing or shipping.
• Participate in the training of new employees. 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs if needed
• Focus on Safety and follow specified safety protocol
• Accurately follow work instructions
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Perform various other duties as assigned

 

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in a production/manufacturing/industrial related environment.
