RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage and administer the Quality System in accordance with the Quality Manual, ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D and other applicable standards and customer requirements.
·Initiate required changes to the Quality Manual / System necessary to ensure that quality levels are maintained.
· Review and approve production planning and create supporting FAI documentation prior to manufacturing release.
· Initiate corrective measures to improve the quality system.
· Ensure inspection personnel and others evaluating quality levels are qualified to do so.
· In accordance with customer requirements, may authorize alternate personnel to perform specific quality evaluation functions where they are qualified to do so.
· Schedule and lead Bond room MRB meetings.
· Approves suppliers in conjunction with the management team.
· Work with Corrective Action Teams.
· Evaluate and create customer submittals.
· Responsible for ensuring that Quality Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions are adhered to.
· Provides the necessary guidance and assistance required to maintain an adequate equipment calibration system.
· Guides corrective action teams to facilitate corrective and preventive actions.
· Coordinates system improvements as identified by quality audits or product non-conformances.
· Assists other departments and functions in understanding the details of the quality system.
· Maintain the CAR system for supplier, customer, and internal issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to interface with regulatory agencies and customers
· Practical experience with sound technical skills, analytical ability, decisive, good judgment, and strong operational focus.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Able to work efficiently in a team environment

· Results and solution-oriented
· Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Degree in related discipline, Certified ASQ CQA/CQE, or equivalent field experience/expertise
· Aerospace Industry experience preferred
· Proficient in computer technology and systems operations
· NADCAP, AS9100, QMS experience
· Exposure to complex materials systems and processes
