Job Description

Title: Business Engineer (Data Warehouse)

Location: Charlotte, NC

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or a related study accompanied by 5 years of experience in Information Technology as a Data Analyst, Systems Analyst or Developer role in a Data Management organization.
• Strong knowledge of SQL or other query languages.
• Business Engineer with ability to runs process re-engineering monitoring alerts SDLC documentation, data mapping and usage stats.
• Expertise in DWH, SQL, Oracle, and Snowflake.
• Expert to perform Business Analysis, Data Analysis and Data Modeler tasks.
• Experience working with business users capturing and analyzing requirements, creating user stories, and maintaining Jira boards and aha.
• Familiar with Data Definition Language(DDL), Data Manipulation Language (DML) and SQL commands, data modeling practices and standards across conceptual logical, physical levels.

Core Proficiencies

• Mentor and provide leadership to more junior members of the team.
• Maintain relationships with interface partners and vendors to assess or communicate impacts specific to upstream or downstream data changes.
• Highly organized with good communication problem solving documentation and presentation skill.
• Demonstrable ability to be proactive, ready to learn new skills and manage ambiguity.
