Part Time Non-Exempt Assistant Research Scientist (Shabani)

Description

The project will focus on characterizing the quality of semiconductor heterostructures grown by molecular beam epitaxy and analyzing the collected data using machine learning tools. The individual must seek to foster a safe and efficient laboratory work environment. This project involves collaboration with theoretical and experimental groups within and outside of NYU. Teamwork, strong communication skills, and an aptitude for independent problem solving are necessary.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $18.00/hr - $30.00/hr. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
