Job Details:

Purpose

We are searching for a motivated individual to join our team and conduct research supporting our ongoing efforts in proteomics and protein biochemistry. The candidate will have a working knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry, and computational biology. A strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and in groups is required. The candidate will perform minor administrative and support duties associated with the lab and will assist in training of other lab members in experimental and/or computational proteomics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory (experimental and/or computational) research

  • Training of lab members in proteomics tasks (experimental and/or computational)

  • Administrative and laboratory support duties

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related field with 4 years of experience; Master's degree with 2 years of experience.
  • 2 years or more of experimental and/or computational experience in biochemistry related research.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in biochemistry, chemistry, biology, or a related field.
  • Experience in protein biochemistry, and routine biochemical and molecular biology techniques, especially experience with protein purification, protein mass spectrometry, and computational analysis of protein mass spectrometry data.

Salary Range

$70,000
