About the role 

 

Boston Scientific is seeking a passionate digital and MarTech leader who is zealous about digital customer-centricity, driving collaboration, and cultivating highly productive cross-functional partnerships across our Urology commercial teams. The ideal leader will have deep experience overseeing the execution of integrated digital marketing campaigns in core marketing technology platforms. Key areas of focus for this digital leader and their team will include technical execution and ongoing back-end technology and data management of our customer-facing digital programs.

 

The Senior Manager, Digital Customer Enablement will have supervisory responsibilities for our marketing automation, business analysis, marketing operations, and digital production teams. This role will be a key contributor to achieving the division's business goals. This position can be based out of our Maple Grove, MN facility or our Marlborough, MA facility. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Formulate and execute annual and long-range global digital marketing technology plans: Collaborate with Director to set direction to achieve overall organization objectives.
  • Propose strategies and tactical plans aimed at short- and long-term revenue goals.
  • Contribute to leading, guiding, and driving our digital transformation and journey towards truly omnichannel, customer-centric experiences.
  • Oversee digital campaign and program enablement, utilizing our martech stack, to ensure results are measured and achieved.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills: Effectively manage and develop teams in a complex environment.
  • Oversee complex cross-business projects and ways of working: Empower the team to work independently, remove barriers and obstacles to ensure the team can operate in an optimally effective fashion.
  • Communicate proactively to all levels of management and all stakeholders: Manage expectations, timelines, and logistics.
  • Provide global understanding, consultation, and content sharing as defined by business needs.
  • Identify, partner with, and manage appropriate resources (i.e., vendor relationships, other internal departments, etc.) to ensure that digital programs are seamless, user-centric, technically sound, and meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain budgets while ensuring cost-saving measures.
  • Evaluate program impact and reassess objectives and outcomes: Responsible for continuous improvement of the digital programs; track results including identification and monitoring of key metrics.
  • Leverage and refine analytics and Key Performance Indicators for campaigns and digital channels by working closely with Global and Division analytics teams to create measurement plans and deliver insightful campaign reports to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure Urology digital implementation and enablement plans are appropriately aligned with other BUs and best practices are shared.
  • Stay abreast of industry standards and trends related to responsibilities, and communicate information to the organization.
  • Position oneself as an expert in digital consumer and patient-facing marketing technology strategies and execution.
  • Effectively communicate and recommend fresh innovative and relevant ideas/plans to business partners and gain alignment.
  • Play a thought-leader role by sharing knowledge and best practices with both internal and external teams.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of experience in creative services, consulting, product, or strategic marketing.
  • Marketing experience with increasing responsibility.
  • CRM and digital marketing experience, along with a proven track record of leading the execution of digital campaigns.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing tools (Marketing Cloud, Customer Data Platform, Interaction Studio), Adobe Experience Manager, and WordPress.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound email marketing, organic and paid search engine marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, website strategy, customer relationship management, webcasts/webinars, and more.
  • Experience in leading, developing, and coaching direct reports.
  • Travel required (35%); domestic and intern
