Requirements

The Executive Director of Global Clinical Operations is a pivotal leadership role, entrusted with steering the strategic direction and operational excellence of our global clinical programs. This executive will ensure that all clinical activities are seamlessly integrated with our corporate objectives, driving innovation and efficiency across Regulatory Affairs, Monitoring, Project Management, and Medical Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a cohesive global clinical operations strategy that aligns with the company's mission and growth targets.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the execution of clinical programs, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, are delivered on time, and within budget.
  • Team Development: Cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team culture, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities to direct reports.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between executive leadership and operational teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on strategic initiatives.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 20 years in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 15 years in executive leadership roles overseeing global clinical operations.
  • Proven track record of leading diverse, cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
  • In-depth knowledge of global regulatory requirements and clinical trial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale budgets and make data-driven financial decisions.
