The Search Experiences team is responsible for the integration of our services in and with second and third party providers. They work with the Product Management and the Community team to ensure that we build simple, flexible, and easy to use integrations with the frameworks and tools our customers use to build workflows that drive their businesses. The Search Experiences team is responsible for exposing Search features in Kibana as well as being in touch with the developer community, writing blog posts and creating sample applications that developers use as the starting point for integrating Elasticsearch into their applications. They work closely with the Extract and Transform and Search Relevance teams to add features that would act as multipliers when integrated in multiple third party providers.

What You Will Be Doing:

• You will be building product enhancements for search components with contributions to Elasticsearch and Kibana.
• You will collaborate with and mentor teammates in a mostly text-based, asynchronous, remote-first team environment with occasional video calls and yearly conferences. 
• You’ll be hands-on with the team and codebase, reviewing work and providing constructive feedback.
• You will collaborate with the team on features, breaking them down into technical deliverables. You’ll act as an important and communicative part of an engaged and spirited team.

• Experience building software using static languages (such as Java) and dynamic languages (such as Python)

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
