Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $73k to $124k Annually with additional bonus potential
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participates in the quarterly and annual income tax provision process including computation of the annual effective rate, deferred tax analysis, FIN 48 reserve determinations, valuation allowance calculations and account reconciliations.
- Participates in and coordinates with Big 4 service provider in the preparation of the federal and state income tax return including computation of permanent and temporary differences, apportionment factors and estimated tax payments.
- Cultivates tax technology and drive the transformation of tax processes.
- Researches and monitors tax issues, nexus and document conclusions.
- Supports tax audits and inquiries by tax authorities related to domestic and foreign income taxes, including gathering necessary documentation, responding to information requests, and providing expert advice and guidance.
- Assists with various tax planning and structuring projects.
- Assists with research and writing internal reports on various topics to support the Company’s tax positions.
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of Tax Fixed Assets.
- Assists with continuous process improvements and integration of various aspects of the tax function to achieve optimal efficiency, effective controls and quality.
- Supports tax planning initiatives, credits & incentives opportunities, and special projects such as business acquisitions and divestitures and provide analysis of specific tax impacts; responding to questions from the business, monitoring tax law changes and participating in business process change initiatives.
- Communicates with Accounting, Reporting, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis departments throughout the year on a regular basis; with Legal, Human Resources, foreign-based regional headquarters personnel and other internal parties as issues & opportunities arise.
- Collaborates with outside advisors on various tax matters; Interacts with independent auditing firm.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Master's degree in Taxation or CPA designation preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in public accounting firm or corporate tax department, with specific exposure to indirect tax compliance
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local income tax laws and regulations
- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data, perform tax research, and provide actionable recommendations in the context of both direct and indirect taxes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Vlookups and creating custom formulas), SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook
- Experience with SAP, OneSourc
