Inpatient Ortho Trauma NP/PA (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant)

Job Description Summary:

The Physician Assistant Surg/Critical Care works in collaboration with the physician in the hospital-based inpatient setting working with critically ill and injured patients. Environments include the ICU or progressive units, trauma, emergency room and surgical services. Perform very invasive procedures and requires high level of independent clinical decision-making. Some outpatient coverage is also expected.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a Physician Assistant Certificate to Practice in Ohio and maintain this Certification from the State Medical Board of Ohio. Must have and maintain a current Certification from a national certifying body (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) and maintain this Certification . Must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.
