Temporary Experienced Sewers (Part-time)

HBF has multiple temporary part-time experienced Sewing roles in Hickory, NC.

• Must have prior Sewing experience and preform a skillset evaluation during the interview process.
• Mini Shift: Monday - Friday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM

What you'll do:

Sewing

• Sews and matches out in a safe, dependable and timely manner that meets production and/or service needs.
• Flatwork (Fabric and Leather),  the ability to produce zippers, cushions and or Top/Saddle Stitch, and complete all sewing tasks in the department.
• Wears all required PPE; safety glasses and safety shoes
• Maintain clean work area and follow 6S guidelines.

What you have:

• Must have at least 3-years of relevant furniture sewing experience to be considered qualified
• Flexibility – be willing to learn and rotate through multiples roles within the facility
• Safety – comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures; meet the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Environment – Dust, fumes and noise are common; while some facilities are climate controlled, seasonal fluctuations in temperatures and humidity are expected

Requirements

• Pass pre-employment drug testing
• Pass a 7-year criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED is NOT required
